What is MovedTo?
A local social club for people who’ve recently moved (and anyone else who wants a real local circle). Friendly chat, real-life socials, ambassadors who run things on the ground. One town at a time.
I’ve lived here forever — can I still join?
Yes. The product is built for newcomers but most members aren’t actually new — they’re just looking for a smaller, warmer community than the usual options. You’re welcome.
What if my town isn’t on the list?
We open areas one at a time when there’s an ambassador on the ground. If you’d like yours next, we’d love to hear from you — the easiest way is to apply to start it yourself.
How do socials work?
Your area’s ambassador hosts events — coffees, walks, dinners, bouldering, whatever fits the crowd. You’ll see what’s coming up in the app and RSVP with one tap. The exact time and address are members-only so socials stay small.
How much is it?
£8 a month or £79 a year. The first 100 members in each town get six months free as founding members. Cancel any time, no hard feelings.
I’m nervous about going to a social alone.
Most people are. That’s why the chat comes first — you meet people there before you ever see them in person. By the time you’re at a social, you already know half the room.
Who runs each area?
Ambassadors. They’re local members who host the socials, moderate the chat, and welcome new arrivals. We approve them; if you’d like to ambassador your town, see the link below.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. From your account, in two clicks. No phone calls, no retention pitches.
What if someone’s being a problem?
Use the report button on a chat message, or email us. Every flag is reviewed by your area’s ambassadors and the founders.
