Ambassadors
Run MovedTo in your town.
Every town that goes live on MovedTo has a real person on the ground — the ambassador. Without one, we don’t open. If you’d like to be that person for your town, we’d love to hear from you.
What an ambassador actually does
- →Hosts the socials — pub nights, walks, dinners, whatever fits the crowd. Two or three a month is plenty.
- →Moderates the chat — says hi to new arrivals, keeps things friendly.
- →Helps the area grow — you’re the public face of MovedTo in your town.
None of this has to fall on one person — areas often have two or three ambassadors sharing it between them.
The deal
While your area is finding its feet, you get free lifetime MovedTo membership in that area. Once you’ve got a paying base, you earn a share of the membership revenue from your town — split between ambassadors if your area has more than one. The long-term direction is clear: ambassadors share in the success of MovedTo.
What we’re looking for
- →You actually live in the town — we’re not looking for outside-in operators.
- →You’re comfortable hosting. You don’t need to be an extrovert; you do need to make people feel welcome.
- →You can give it a few hours a week, dependably, for at least a year. This isn’t a passive thing.
- →You’re kind. Read the code of conduct — that’s the room you’re building.

- · A link to anything that gives us a sense of you (LinkedIn, Instagram, your own website — whatever)
