Code of conduct

The rules of the room.

MovedTo works because everyone here is rooting for the room — not picking it apart. Six things we ask of every member:

    Be kind. Look out for newcomers.

    If someone’s new, say hi first. Read the room. The whole thing only works if everyone’s rooting for the room.

  2. 02

    Show up. Cancel respectfully.

    RSVPs aren’t a maybe. If you can’t make it, cancel as soon as you know — especially when capacity is tight. Repeated no-shows lose your spot.

  3. 03

    No harassment. No hate speech. No spam.

    We don’t tolerate bullying, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other ism. We don’t tolerate using the chat to flog stuff.

  4. 04

    Respect privacy.

    What’s shared in the chat stays in the chat. Don’t screenshot it, don’t share other members’ details, don’t publish photos of people without asking.

  5. 05

    Don’t bring drama.

    Disagree without being a dick about it. If something bothers you, use the report button, or email us. Don’t litigate it in the chat.

  6. 06

    When you’re wrong, say so.

    Apologise. We all get it wrong sometimes; what matters is what happens next.

Reporting

Tap “Report” on any chat message. Or email hello@movedto.com. Every flag is reviewed by your area’s ambassadors and the founders. Serious breaches get a one-strike ban.
