Your bin types are as follows:
- Grey bin – general waste
- Red bin – all recycling
- Green bin – garden waste (dependant on location)
You can order an extra red bin free of charge on the Reading Borough Council website, as well as order a replacement grey bin.
The bins that are collected every week alternate. Grey waste bins and red recycling bins are collected together once every two weeks, and the green garden waste bins are collected on the alternate weeks to the grey and red bins. You will need to put your bins out by 7am on the day of collection to ensure that they are emptied.
