Camping Trip
On the weekend of the 30th June we will be going camping again! Last year we went to Petruth Paddocks in Cheddar, and it was so good we’ll be returning this year for another fantastic weekend of sun (hopefully), exploring, and late nights around the campfire. Take a look at our Facebook event for all the details!
CampingSpotlight On: Oscar Pet Foods
Here at MovedTo we love getting involved with Berkshire-based businesses, so when Alan & Julie Parry of Oscar Pet Food got in touch, we couldn’t wait to hear more about how they became involved in the pet industry, and what they have to offer pet-lovers and animal enthusiasts here in the local area.
Alan & Julie love getting to know their customers, and are on-hand to offer help, advice and guidance as and when required, and are both trained in animal nutrition. All Oscar customers have free access to the team of experts at head office, which ranges from nutritional, behavioural, training and veterinary advice.

As summer approaches there’s plenty to get involved with this month in Newbury. Here are some of our picks.
On Thursday 11th May the annual Newbury Rotary Charity Golf Day is being held at Donnington Valley Golf Club, in aid of Parkinson’s UK Newbury & District Branch and other selected Local Rotary Charities. For entry forms call 01635 254123 or email golf@newburyrotary.org, or visit their website www.newburyrotary.org
The evening of Thursday 11th is also the next MovedTo social, with the return of Casual Thursday at the Elephant at the Market!
Friday 19th May is the Starlight Charity Raceday at Newbury Racecourse, with gates opening at midday and the final race at 17:35. Later that evening we’re hosting a social for young professionals in Newbury. If you’re in your 20s or 30s and working in the local area, come along to meet some like-minded people outside of the work environment! The racing continues the following day, with the Al Shaqab Lockinge Day at the Racecourse.
On Wednesday 24th the monthly quiz night is being held at Newbury Rugby Club, this month with a cash prize to be won. The annual Bayer 10k is being held on Sunday 28th May, and we’ll be going along to support with Nightingale Fitness! If you’re running the race then why not celebrate by going along to Bullfest at The Bull Inn, Stanford Dingley, from 3pm. There will be plenty of local real ale, cider and live music for you to enjoy. Visit facebook.com/bullinn for more info!
Have a fantastic May and we hope to see you at one of our socials soon.
