Newbury Bin Collection

Bin Collections in Newbury

Rubbish and recycling collection days vary across Newbury and the surrounding area so you’ll need to check the West Berkshire Council website to find out when yours will be picked up, and what to do if you’ve missed a bin collection.

Recycling in Newbury

You can also request a bin or recycling box if the house you’ve moved into doesn’t have them. West Berkshire Council will collect bulky items for you such as sofas, fridges or mattresses at a cost, but fixtures and fittings such as carpets or fitted wardrobes should be taken to the Recycling Centre on Newtown Road. You’ll need a permit to be able to use the recycling centre as only people living in West Berkshire are entitled to use it. You can request the permit online here, or call 01635 519080 for more information.
